From preschool through high school, the CSA Way integrates innovation, choice, and character to achieve educational excellence. The strong bond between our students, families, teachers, support staff, and school leadership is what sets CSA District apart from other school districts. The difference is in the details.
Every year, we launch the school year with a District-wide theme that connects our students, educators, and families from preschool through high school. Some years, the theme highlights one of our core values, character traits or philosophies. Other years, it celebrates an important milestone in our District’s journey.
This year, our theme does both.
Charyl Stockwell Academy District is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year. Traditionally the 30th anniversary is known as the Pearl Anniversary which symbolizes three decades of enduring love, wisdom, patience, and hidden beauty. It represents the journey of a relationship that has matured over time into something precious and enduring. Pearls reflect the strength, beauty, and unique character of a 30-year partnership.
For three decades, CSA has been shaped by visionary founders, dedicated educators, committed families, and, most importantly, the thousands of students who have grown and learned in our care. Along the way, we have gained our own pearls of wisdom: lessons, traditions, practices, relationships, and deeply held beliefs that have become part of who we are.
It is with tremendous pride that we share our 30th Anniversary school-wide theme: Pearls of Wisdom: Our Legacy, Our Future.
Our legacy is grounded in an unwavering commitment to our Mission: to provide a safe place for children to grow and learn. It is strengthened by our Five Core Philosophies: Developmental Approach, Teaching to the Whole Child, Continuous Progress Mastery Learning, Internal Motivation Psychology, and High Expectations, which have guided our work since the beginning and continue to distinguish the educational experience we provide today.
We carry the wisdom of those who came before us while embracing our responsibility to continue learning, innovating, and imagining what is possible for the children entrusted to our care. The lessons of our past become the foundation for our future, and the next chapter belongs to all of us.
